Marriott Portfolio, UK

Brokerage

CBRE Hotels advised Whitbread plc and Marriott International on a sale and manage-back of 46 Marriott hotels in the UK. The sale was made to the Royal Bank of Scotland in a deal worth more than £1 billion.

Valuation

Terminal Five, Heathrow, UK

Development

Our recent agreement with BAA is for the development of a 600-bedroom hotel attached to the new Terminal Five complex at Heathrow. This ground-breaking ground lease structure with Arora International, who will operate the hotel under a franchise for Accor's Sofitel brand, will allow the hotel to open at the same time as the terminal in 2008.
