We are the largest and most experienced Lease Consultancy team in Central London with an outstanding track record helping both investors to obtain better returns and occupiers to minimise their costs. We create, negotiate and advise on all aspects of a lease including drafting, review, renewal restructuring, dilapidations and resolving disputes. We understand and interpret existing leases to produce the best practical and commercial outcome for our clients.
Lease consultancy - avoiding and solving disputes
Like any contract, sometimes lease terms can result in conflict. We retain three experienced arbitrators and independent experts in our team to help clients negotiate disputes. The value of our contentious and non-contentious capability was fully understood in 2010 by an investor client, Chinese Estates. Following their purchase we undertook a 416,857 sq ft rent review on their behalf, achieving an increased rent and a corresponding enhanced asset value of almost £4.1 million, while simultaneously managing arbitration pursued vigorously by the occupier.
